I think I would just like to build close relationships whether it's someone who is a parental figure, a sibling, cousin, or friend. I do have a family, but I really feel like they don't care for me. No one ever reaches out to me, I'm the one always trying to keep communication. I know if anything were to happen to me, they wouldn't be there nor would they care (as I already know from experience). They never ask me how I'm doing or bother to listen and understand me. The relatives that I know are very caught up in their own hatred, close-mindedness and negativity. It's upsetting because I want to have good memories with my family, but I know that will never happen. I know they will continue to go on their vacations without me and continue to do things that make me feel like a black sheep. Both my parents have been separated since I was an infant and even though their miles a part, they both treat me like I don't even matter or like they hate me (depends on their mood. I just don't look to fondly back on my mom being my biggest bully and making my life miserable or my dad treating all his other children better than he ever treated me. No matter what, whenever I'm around them I'm always made to feel like shit.
College has taught that not all families or relationships are filled with negativity. I've learned that there are actually families who go out of their way for another, care for each other, do their best to be there, and etc… I want relatives like that. I want relatives that will reach out to me and won't feel burdened when I reach out to them. It's hard to have people that you genuinely care about, not care about you. So I'd like to redirect my efforts elsewhere. Hopefully, somewhere where they are appreciated.
I'm a full-time student, I work part-time, and I'm getting over pinched nerve. I love going to the movies, the beach, nature walks, and just walking and talking. I really enjoy positive company and want to have more positive influences and memories in my life. I would also like to be there for you as well. If you'd like to know anything else, just message me!
