My dad mistreated me my whole life, and when he died when I was 17, so many of those secrets died with him. I envy those who do not live with this burden and always wonder what it would be like to have a real dad who was like a mentor to me, for little decisions and big decisions. I just want to chat and reach out once in a while. I have people to spend time with, holidays with, but also have this gap in my life. If someone has experience talking to trauma victims, that would be amazing. My hope is to help others someday but i’m a mess myself. I’m also at mswstudent451@gmail.com
