I am a woman in her 50’s trying to stay no-contact with my mother, after decades of her refusing to speak to me off and on, over and over. I work full time and have two teenage sons, both who struggle with various issues. I work hard to maintain my mental and physical wellbeing without any family supports. I get lonely and often feel like I am doing this parenting stuff wrong. I recognize am I not perfect, but I am full of love and the desire to do better.
