I’m 36 years old and a divorced mother of 2 boys. I come from a very small yet very dysfunctional family. I’m not very close with any of my siblings or mother. I was very close to my father who passed away 11 years ago. I’ve struggled to have a family closeness since. I’m unable to have a healthy relationship with my family. I’m from a mixed race of black and white. I’m the only girl who is of this race as I have to all black sister. I’ve been resented by my mother and sisters because of this. I and longing for a normal functioning family. I just want to have that love and bond for myself and my children.
