I am an English native, of Irish background, and I live in the Netherlands with my Dutch husband. My parents were always distant and cold with me and not supportive.
They did not understand my anxiety, and they were also very dismissive about it.
They are still alive and well, but I struggle to maintain a good relationship with them. I have always felt so lonely. Of course I now have a loving and supportive husband, but I wanted to have a loving and supportive family. I am looking for the supportive, caring parents I never had.
I would also like to have a friend with similar interests. My hobby's are reading, travel, watching films, go for a walk, watching football, and listening to music. I speak Spanish and have a passion for Spain.
