living here alone in the USA for 17 years now. all my family is another country. been alone for most of this time. i have survived my fathers suicide at 18 and i have battled depression ever since. my mother left when i joined the US navy and all i have here is one friend who has a child now and that has become his priority. so time with him has been limited. i have had some great friends come into my life but for reason either my own or theirs they are no longer my friend. just here looking to see if i can choose a family. most holidays i try to work as to me they have just become like any other day. they have no meaning to me anymore.
