My husband and I have lived in Fort Worth, TX for the last 5 years. I work a job where many do not speak English. Aside from the fact they are men. He works at a job where most are much younger than he is. So, friends haven't been the easiest to make.
We both miss our families but because of their circumstances they would be poison to us. So, we made the break and moved halfway across the country.
Now, simply trying to find our way. We do love Texas. Yet, we miss family and holidays. Simply people to celebrate with. People to hang out with and do nothing.
