I am a married woman with an 11 year old son living in the western suburbs of Chicago. I work in marketing and volunteer as a content creator with the organization Together Estranged, which supports estranged adult children.

I am a former triathlete and martial artist who now enjoys cooking, reading, painting, writing, spending time with my family and researching for content for the educational series I write for Together Estranged.

I have been estranged from my family of origin for going on four years with varying degrees of emotional distance preceding that decision. My interest in joining this community is to build a network of chosen family to build connection and mutual support. To that end, I am looking for mother, father, and siblings (brothers and sisters alike). I am open to virtual conversations with those not local as well as the opportunity to meet up in person locally as well.
