I have many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and cousins by blood. Just because you have blood relatives does not mean you have family. I have no contact with them because they bailed on me when I had cancer. Actually it happened years before that, but you face the truth when you are ill. So I am well now and want to be with a new family. A new place to belong, feel close to others, find comfort and kindness.
