I am an only child and a single mom of 3 beautiful, loving, intelligent children. I was very close to my dad who died unexpectedly 6 years ago. My mother is emotionally abusive and so I have little or no contact with her. My kids have only one grandparent (their dad's mom) and I would love for them to have another surrogate grandparent. I was very close to my grandparents and cherish the memories of being a grandchild.
We have lots of friends but a very small family. We have lots of love to share, provided you don't mind the high level of fun energy that often fills our home.
