My name Is Lauren, -age 30 reside in Chicago, Northwest side. I'm only working part time now so I'd like to take advantage of my extra time and meet new people, invest in building the positive relationships around me, and focus on activities that add value to my life.
A little more about me… I've been told that I am a good friend to have. I feel that people believe this because I'm outgoing, understanding, caring, and funny. It gives me great joy when I get a laugh out of you! I'm a firm believer that if you surround yourself with people that can enrich your life socially, spiritually, and overall show you a sense of comfort that they will be there no matter what.
I come from a family of 4, 2 sisters(ages 27 & 24) and 1 brother(age 18). Both of my parents are still alive and together. Unfortuntly, I'm sad to say that al of my grandparents have passed on which really took a toll on me at the early age of 13 when my father's mother passed. 2 years later, my maternal grandmother passed who I had a stronger bond than anyone in my life. A year after her death, my great-grandmother passed away after being in a nursing home for 12 years. About 5 years ago, grandfather passed away from cancer after 2 months of knowing he had it. Our family was devastated and it ended up resulting in a rift between our parents, among the siblings, and holidays haven't been whole since.
