So, I have been really hurt and let down by many people and it shows sometimes. I was raised in foster care and bounced from place to place until I aged out of the system. I find it very hard to get emotionally close to anyone. Most of the time, I am quirky, smiling all the time and very friendly. But the hurt and bitterness is still there and it comes out every now in and then manifesting itself as me being suspicious of everyone. Truthfully, I long to be close to someone and to have a family that would welcome me into their life.
