I'm an only child and my parents are divorced. My mother lives in another state. My father and I get along well, but are not really close. After the death of my grandfather and a couple other divorces in the family my cousins, aunts and uncles have all seemed to go separate ways. No bad blood just everyone has gone on different directions. I often find myself wishing for the companionship of siblings, which I don't have and I feel that asking that from my friends would make me seem needy.
