I am 20 years old and an only child. I don't have a close relationship with most of my extended family members. I lost my father when I was 16, and 8 months later I lost my mother at 17. I miss being someone's daughter, and as I get older I really feel like I'm missing out on a lot by not having a mom that other women my age take for granted.
