Hello Future Family! Looking forSouthern Alabama Connections! I am a wife, mother and stepmother of 7 all grown up children. My passion is gardening, especially Aquaponics. We were traveling around the country and finally bought a piece of landed in Marbury near Pratteville area of Alabama. We are currently building our aquaponic system which you can see a youtube video about us at http://www.foodsecuritytech.com. I am looking for extended family that would like to come hang out and talk as it is just the two of us (hubby and me) “empty nesters” here from New Zealand. Our baby is 26 year old son just left Southern California to join the military –we had a great relationship but after finishing school a new military career is everything for him right now as you can understand. I call him the white rabbit “NO TIME, NO TIME” ha ha – The other kids and grandkids are all over the world, New Zealand, Kenya and Singapore. They Messenger often however it is not the same as having your kids living with or near you. I miss having kids around, as I love to surround myself with young people and share what I have learned, the mistakes I have made and the road to success. We did teach a Sabbath School high school teenage class which we always have an amazing time and have lots of young people that tend to adopt us – but alas everyone is off to college and living far away. We are happy go lucky, very non-judgmental or critical, good listeners and easy to talk to. We are starting over again in life – the house and car are taken care of by the grace of God and the business is just a start up —building Aquaponics systems, both Salt and Freshwater.
