Pets are on the loose this season, though they won’t be hard to find with those red Sanata costumes on. In spirit of the holidays, many owners will giving their felines the best Christmas yet- so much better that an AP-Petside poll estimates spending on pets to climb from $48 billion to $50 billion by the end of the season. This means pet owners buying presents will spend an average of $46 on their furry companions.
That $46 will not only be spent on chew toys and sweaters, but food items for their special holiday meal, grooming, and even a Tiffany’s doggie collar (which costs a lot more than $46!). We’re not sure if that money goes towards pictures with Santa Clause though, since that’s more of a gift to us!
