My name is Aly. I'm looking for a father figure for myself, and also to be a parental or sibling figure for someone. I am 22 years old (23 in June!) and currently living with my husband in Ontario, Canada. I am a student pursuing a Biomedical Honours and Language degree, and hope to one day be a surgeon specializing in gender reassignment surgery. I currently have one certification in phlebotomy and medical assisting. I also sing soprano in a queer choir (Tone Cluster), play double bass, draw, write, read, knit, hike, travel, and like to volunteer.
My husband is transgender, I lean towards non-binary myself, and we take care of his 19-year-old special needs sister, Emily, who is mentally around 5-7.
I am looking mainly to become family for someone who needs it. This world is too big to be alone in, and I have plenty of love to go around (as do my husband and our teenager). I believe in unconditional love and support, and in helping people reach their goals. I am naturally a very maternal person. I love using pet names (honey, sweetie, baby) and am very affectionate and loving. My husband is a bit less affectionate (being autistic), but he is no less supportive, and always has great resources and logic for helping deal with life's problems.
I may be on the younger side, but I have no problem providing a mother role or older sister to anyone who would like it. I already have one "daughter" in Germany who I am mothering during her last year of high school.
Everyone should have a place to call home, and a safety net of people who will help and love them no matter what happens.
